Geek Notes
Distortion in a hydronic heating system shows up as uneven heat around the house and poor overall efficiency, usually because flow rates on different circuits are fighting each other. Diagnosing it means checking flow rates and temperatures circuit by circuit rather than guessing at radiator sizes. The fix is mechanical: adjusting balance and separation across the circuits that are out of step.
I've been talking for a while about distortion in hydronic heating systems ( a made up term to describe real Life issue) and in all honesty with always known the answer . I just haven’t come across anyone who had implemented it yet! Domestically at least.
